Suzanne M. Schweigert

Suzanne M. Schweigert is a native of Watford City, North Dakota. She has been a member of the firm since 1997. Since that time, she has specialized in business law, corporate law, debtor/creditor law, and family law. She has extensive experience in the business and corporate law area, ranging from business incorporations to the drafting of numerous business and corporate contracts. She has represented both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy, including Chapter 11 and Chapter 12 bankruptcy proceedings. She appears in both state and federal court on a regular basis and is familiar with the local attorneys and judges in Western North Dakota.

Suzanne is admitted to the bar in the state of North Dakota and is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in North Dakota and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals. She graduated with honors from Jamestown College in Jamestown, North Dakota in 1992 with a triple major in Accounting, Business Administration and History/Political Science. She thereafter graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1995 and has been practicing since that time in Bismarck. She is a member of the Big Muddy Bar Association, the State Bar Association of North Dakota, the American Bar Association and the North Dakota Trial Lawyers Association.

Suzanne and her husband, David, reside in Bismarck with their three sons.
